EWING, NJ – The Rowan University men’s and women’s divers competed at The College of New Jersey Invitational on Saturday. It was the second day of the invitational.

Samantha Rottkamp (jr. Bridgeton, NJ/Cumberland Reg.) took fifth place in the three meter diving (11 dives) with 449.33 points. Kylie O’Rourke (so. N. Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Reg.) came in ninth with 291.08 points. Rottkamp was also fifth (269.33 points) in the three meter diving (six dives).

On the men’s side, Mark Balesteri (sr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) took sixth place (435.45 points) in the one meter diving (11 dives) followed by Kyle Bianchini (sr. Blackwood, NJ/Highland Reg.) seventh (403.80 points). In the one meter diving (six dives), Balesteri finished eighth (237.38 points) and Bianchini was 10th (208.20 points).

Next week, Rowan travels to Kings Point, NY on Saturday, December 11 for a 2 p.m. meet. The men will compete against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy while the women swim against C.W. Post.
