MAHWAH, NJ – Forward Petter Lunde scored the winning goal for the Rowan University men’s soccer team in a 1-0 victory at conference opponent Ramapo College.

With six seconds left in the game, Lunde (fr. Asker, Noway/Asker VGS) scored the game winner and forward Mike Pascale (sr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.) had the assist. It was Lunde’s fifth goal on the season.

Rowan has an overall record of 7-3-1 and a 2-1-1 mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Ramapo is 7-2-2 on season with a 2-2-1 conference record. The Roadrunners totaled 16 shots and the Profs took 13. Goalie Charlie Cunliffe (jr. Lakewood, NJ/Lakewood) stopped four shots for his fourth shutout of the year. For Ramapo, goalie Ian Tighe (sr. Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) had five saves.

Next week, Rowan plays at the University of Scranton on Monday, October 5 at 7 p.m.
