GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team shut out Valley Forge Christian College, 3-0 on Thursday night. The set scores were 25-10, 25-12 and 25-10.

Middle blocker Chelsea Bowman (sr. Penns Grove, NJ/Park Bible Academy) led the Profs with 12 kills and outside hitter Katie Havlicek (fr. Midland Park, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) followed with 10. Bowman ended the match with a .750 hitting percentage while Havlicek hit .556.

Libero Casey Roselle (jr. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) compiled 18 digs. Setter Chrissy McKay (sr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) registered 31 assists. Defensive specialist Sarah Betancourt (so. Harrington Park, NJ/Northern Valley Old Tappan) recorded four service aces.

Rowan hosts a tri-match on Saturday, October 3 with Washington College (MD) and Marymount University (VA). In the first contest, Rowan plays Washington at 11 a.m. and Marymount faces Washington at 1 p.m. Rowan meets Marymount in the final match at 3 p.m.
