At the NCAA Division III Championships, Gillooly (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) earned All-America honors in the 50 and 100 freestyles.  He came in sixth in the 100 free with a time of 44.72 and seventh in the 50 in 20.20.  Gillooly was also a member of the 14^thplace 200 (1:30.78) and 400 (3:19.17) medley relays for All-America honorable mention.  He was chosen the New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week for the fifth time.
