Pitcher Lauren Shannon (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) guided the softball team to the NCAA Super Regional title and a trip to the NCAA Championship Tournament in Oklahoma City, OK. In the second game versus Moravian College (May 20), Shannon was the winning pitcher, giving up just two hits and one earned run while striking out nine batters. She was selected the Super Regional Most Outstanding Pitcher.
