Designated hitter Matt Johanson (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) helped guide the Profs to a 4-0 start at the Russ Matt Tournament in Orlando, FL. Against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (Mar. 15), Johanson went four for seven with two RBIs, one run scored and one double. He was three for four with three runs scored, two RBIs, two doubles and one home run versus North Central College (IL) (Mar. 16). Johanson ended the week with one hit (three at bats), one RBI and one double against St. Joseph’s College (LI) (Mar. 17). He leads the team with a .545 batting average and five doubles. Johanson has compiled eight RBIs and six runs scored.
