Designated player Ashley DeYoung (jr. Oakland, NJ/Indian Hills) was named the NJAC Player of the Week after leading the Profs to a 5-1 week. DeYoung went 9-for-13 with three home runs, 10 RBIs and six runs scored. She also walked three times. DeYoung knocked in four runs in a 12-2 win over The College of New Jersey (Apr. 6). In the doubleheader sweep at Montclair State University (Apr. 9), she collected five hits and two walks in seven plate appearance, hit two homers, drove in five runs and scored four times. DeYoung went 1-for-4 with a double against Ramapo (Apr. 11). For the season, she is batting .384 with eight home runs, 29 RBIs and 66 runs scored. DeYoung leads the NJAC in homers and is fourth in RBIs.
