Center fielder/catcher Nicolina Veneziano (jr. Bloomfield, NJ/Bloomfield) guided the softball team to a 4-0 week. She compiled a .800 batting average with eight hits (10 at bats), six RBIs, six runs scored, a home run, a triple and two stolen bases. In a doubleheader sweep of Rutgers-Newark (Apr. 20), Veneziano was a combined three for four with four RBIs, two runs scored, a homer and one steal. She ended the week with five hits (six at bats), four runs scored, two RBIs, a triple and one stolen base in a doubleheader at Kean University (Apr. 22). For her performance, Veneziano was chosen the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week for the second time this season.
