Sean Corey (fr. Edgewater Park, NJ/Burlington City) won the javelin at the Lions’ Invitational (Apr. 28). Corey had a winning throw of 191’11” (58.50 meters). His toss was a NCAA provisional (57.30 meters). It marked the second straight week that Corey had a provisional. Corey had a throw of 188’7” (57.49 meters) at the CTC Championships (Apr. 21-22). Corey was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this year.
