Right-hander Jackie Sasko (sr. Groveville, NJ/Steinert) went 4-0 with one save for the softball team last week. At the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, FL, she tossed a complete game, allowing just two hits and striking out six batters against Utica College (Mar. 17). Sasko threw two innings in relief to pick up a save against Fontbonne University (Mar. 18). She pitched four innings, surrendering one hit and struck out four hitters in the win over Endicott College (Mar. 18). Sasko tossed a no-hitter versus Westminster College (Mar. 20). She recorded eight strikeouts. She improved to 7-1 with a three hit, eight strikeout performance against Gwynedd-Mercy College (Mar. 24). Sasko has a 1.08 earned run average with a team-high 51 strikeouts.
