Tamara Jones (so. Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson) won the 400 meters at the CTC Championships (Feb. 14). Her time of 58.62 broke her previous school record (59.57), which she set earlier this season. It was also better than the NCAA provisional (58.70). Jones took second in the 200 meters (26.39). She was part of the winning 4x200 meter relay (1:48.99) and second place 4x400 meter relay (4:10.45). The 4x400 meter relay broke the University record of 4:12.73 (1991). Jones was named this week’s NJAC Athlete of the Week.
