Kristen Schaffer is in her fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Rowan University women’s volleyball program.
Schaffer was previously the head volleyball coach at Ridley High School in Delaware County, PA. While at Ridley, she had a record of 207-90 with many of her former players continuing their volleyball careers at regional colleges.
Schaffer was a volleyball student-athlete at Elizabethtown College where she followed her sister and current Rowan head coach Deana Jespersen as the team’s setter for three years. She is a member of the Ridley Old Timers Sports Hall of Fame and a founding member of Mystique Juniors Volleyball Club, which was co-founded by Jespersen and her father, Bob Maguire.
Schaffer is a social studies teacher in the Ridley Township school district and resides in Swedesboro, NJ with her husband Marc and daughters Logan and Rylie.
