Carolyn Mooney is in her first season as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at Rowan University.
Mooney is the head coach for the Cherry Hill Volleyball Club. She has also directed numerous youth teams and training clinics. Mooney played one year at the varsity level at the University of Pennsylvania and was also a captain for the school’s club team. She attended Cherry Hill High School East, where she earned All-Conference, All-South Jersey and All-State honors. Mooney helped lead the Cougars to the 2005 New Jersey Group IV title.
Mooney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering. She is a member of the engineering staff at Lockheed Martin.
