Dr. Damiso Josey

Dr. Damiso Josey has been with the Rowan women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach since the 2019-20 season.
 
He came to Rowan after holding coaching positions at Hammonton High School including serving as the head girls’ basketball coach from 2007 to 2009. Josey was the assistant coach for the boys’ basketball team from 2002 to 2006 and also from 2010 to 2017, and was the head boys’ soccer coach (2008-10), the assistant basketball coach (2006-10) and the assistant softball coach (2002-04).
 
Josey played football for one year at Temple University while earning his bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, multimedia and mass communications in 1999. He then earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Scranton University in 2010, and then his doctor of education degree in educational leadership from the University of New England in 2018.
 
The native of Glassboro, and graduate of Delsea Regional High School, has two daughters, Symone and Jayden.
