Todd Beaman completed his third season as assistant men’s basketball coach at Rowan in 2019-20, with his primary responsibilities being recruiting and skills development.
He joined the Profs after working as an assistant coach at Atlantic City High School, helping the Vikings capture the state Group IV title in 2012 and 2013, while advancing to the semifinals of the Tournament of Champions in both seasons. The team also won the South Jersey Group IV championship in 2016.
Beaman started his coaching career as the lead recruiter at the prestigious Laurinburg Institute in North Carolina. He helped lead the team to a national ranking of 13th and assisted numerous student-athletes in attaining college scholarships.
After leaving Laurinburg, Beaman started a basketball skills development company in Las Vegas, focusing on player development training in the offseason. He helped train numerous professionals, both in the NBA and international leagues, as well as collegiate, high school and youth players.
Beaman has been a counselor and consultant for numerous basketball camps and events around the country. He also founded Olympus Basketball Inc. in the South Jersey area, which conducts programs for players around the world.
Beaman earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Rutgers University and later received his Juris Doctor Degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
