Kevin “Moon” Mullin joined the Rowan coaching staff for the 2021-22 season, bringing a wealth of coaching and playing experience to the Profs.
After starring at Princeton University where the Tigers won three Ivy League championships, Mullin was an All-Ivy League selection and received Honorable Mention All-America his senior year. He was chosen by the defending World Champion Boston Celtics in the fourth round of the 1984 NBA Draft after “lighting up” the NCAA Tournament with a 38-point performance. After leaving the NBA, he would go on to play professionally in Europe.
Mullin has coached high school basketball in both public and private school settings. He is also the author of two books for student-athletes and has been a consultant and adviser to student athletes, parents and families, mentors and coaches.
Before retiring, Mullin was the CEO of a management consulting firm specializing in Leadership Development, Team Building, and Career Counseling, an experience which has enabled him to deliver effective team and player development initiatives at Rowan.
A native of Wenonah, NJ, Mullin received his bachelor’s degree in business/economics from Princeton and earned a master’s degree in human resources from Villanova University. He has two children – Michael and Heather.
