Dave Lafferty

Dave Lafferty is in his 17th year as an assistant coach at Rowan University, his fourth as associate head coach. He has worked under Dr. John Giannini and Joe Cassidy.

Lafferty was the head coach at Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ for 13 years (1979 to 1992). He coached the Lancers to back-to-back sectional final appearances in 1984 and 1985.

Lafferty graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education and a minor in English. He earned a master’s degree in student personnel services from IUP in 1985.

He is a school counselor at Seneca High School. Lafferty coached the Golden Eagles baseball team from 2004-07 and guided them to the 2007 Group III State Championship. Under Lafferty, the team also won the 2005, 2006 and 2007 South Jersey Championship.

Lafferty lives with his wife, Roxane, in Southampton, NJ.
