LANGHORNE, PA -- Rowan made it six wins in a row after a 3-0 sweep (25-7, 25-15, 25-14) at Carin Tuesday night.
The Profs (8-2) had seven players record at least one kill led by
Jessica Smart who tallied a match-high 11. Setter
Raven Albrecht added 27 assists with a team-best four aces.
After taking a 1-0 lead, Rowan started the second set on a 8-1 run. The advantage swelled to 14-4 before the Highlanders cut it to 21-15.
Alexa Kelleher notched a pair of kills as part of a four-run spurt to help the visitors go up 2-0.
Smart racked up four kills in the third and deciding set as the Profs took an 11-9 lead to a 20-11 edge to help lock up the team's sixth-straight victory.
Marah Lehman had six kills and nine digs to lead Cairn (7-3).
Rowan resumes action this Saturday in a tri-match at Elizabethtown.
