Kowalczyk Leads the Way in Field Hockey's 4-0 Shutout of Haverford

GLASSBORO, NJ - Sydney Kowalczyk had two goals and two assists as Rowan shut out Haverford, 4-0, in field hockey action at Coach Wackar Stadium. The Profs (3-3) have won three in a row, which have all been shutouts.

Game Highlights
 
Kowalczyk got the Profs on the board right away when she took a centering pass from Tori Tullio at 2:04.
 
She scored her second at 25:14 on a penalty stroke when the Profs were awarded it after Olivia Nicolucci had a scoring chance stopped in a collision with the Haverford (2-4) goalie.
 
Kowalczyk set up the next goal as she dove to send the ball ahead to Mia Foti who carried it in over 20 yards and beat the goalie at 26:15 to give the Profs a 3-0 lead.
 
Sophia Weisler scored Rowan's final goal, and her first of the year, when she deflected a shot by Kowalczyk at 40:52.
 
Ella Morton and Kelley Crescenzo combined for the shutout with Morton making one save and Crescenzo stopping three shots in the fourth quarter.
 
The Profs go on the road for the next three games, starting on Wednesday at Swarthmore. Then on the weekend, it's a trip to Virginia to face #24 Lynchburg on Saturday and #18 Washington and Lee on Sunday.
