LOUISVILLE, KY -- #16 Rowan placed six student-athletes on the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Teams.
Earning first team Region IV honors were
Emily McCutcheon,
BethAnne Doderer, and
Kate Evick.
Ava Fisher and
Zara MacNair were selected to the second team and
Mikayla Dansky earned a spot on the third team.
McCutcheon is selected for the third time in her career with Evick getting the nod for the second year in a row. Doderer, Fisher, MacNair and Dansky are honored for the first time. All six players also earned All-NJAC honors as well.
A total of 386 student-athletes from 161 schools were honored by the organization. The Profs were one of six schools to have six players earn recognition.
McCutcheon currently has a 1.16 ERA with a 17-5 record in 22 starts. In over 138 innings this season, the senior has 88 strikeouts with just 10 walks.
Doderer is enjoying a breakout season, with a current record of 17-5 with 1.34 ERA. Opponents are batting just .199 against the sophomore who was fanned 99 batters in over 125 innings in the circle.
Evick owns a .964 OPS while batting .364 with 29 RBI's, 13 doubles, 12 runs, 10 walks, a triple and a home run. The senior catcher has thrown out eight of 22 potential base stealers.
Fisher leads the squad in OPS (1.057), RBI's (39), extra-base hits (19). Her eight home runs also is tied for the NJAC lead to boot.
MacNair has put together a team-leading .383 average and has added 28 runs, 23, RBI's, eight stolen bases, five doubles and two triples.
Dansky leads the NJAC is ranked 20th in Division III in stolen bases (40). The sophomore is eight away from tying the program single-season record.
All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 27 on NFCA.org.
The Profs continue play at the NCAA Tournament Regional at East Texas Baptist in Marshall, Texas.
