GLASSBORO, NJ - Fifth-ranked Rowan scored seven runs in the fifth inning to break a 4-4 tie en route to a 13-4 win over Rutgers-Camden in the semifinals of the 2026 NJAC Baseball Championship. The top-seeded Profs (30-5) will host sixth-seeded William Paterson in the best-of-three Championship Series on Saturday, with a doubleheader starting at 11:30 a.m. If necessary, the teams will play a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m. to determine the NJAC champion.

Evan McCoach was 2-for-5 with three RBI,
Nick Struble went 1-for-3 with two runs and three RBI,
Brett Chiesa was 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI and
Damon Suriani drove in two runs to lead the Profs.

Evan Brasberger (3-0) earned the victory in 1.2 innings of work as the Profs used six pitchers.

Nick Watson combined to secure the win.

Struble and Chiesa started off the seven-run fifth inning. Struble drew a bases-loaded walk that allowed NJAC Player of the Year
Brayden Davis to cross the plate with the go-ahead run. Chiesa laced a two-run single to score
Ian Murphy and
Jason Schooley and give the Profs a 7-4 lead. McCoach followed with a two-run double and Suriani drove in two runs with a single to push the Profs' lead to 11-4.
Rowan put the game out of reach in the eighth, 13-4, as
Mason Dorsey had an RBI single and McCoach drew a bases-loaded walk. Â

The Profs struck first in the game and staked a 3-0 lead in the first inning as a single by Murphy scored Davis. Struble then hit a two-run single to score Murphy and Schooley.

Rutgers-Camden got on the board with single runs in the second, third and fourth innings to tie the game, 3-3.

Joey Bogart gave Rowan a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the fourth with a sacrifice fly that scored Chiesa but the Scarlet Raptors tied it in the top of the fifth.
