Elaina Corson scored seven goals and became the school's all-time leading scorer as #16 Rowan cruised to a 20-8 win over Kean in an NJAC women's lacrosse game on "Senior Day". The win gives the Profs (12-2; 3-0 NJAC) a nine-game winning streak.

Corson's record-breaking play came with :09 left in the second period. Corson assisted on
Madison Rothwein's goal to give her 312 career points, breaking the previous record of 311 set by All-American Colleen Smith from 1991 to 1995. Corson finished the game with seven goals and two assists to up her career total to 316 points.

After a scoreless first quarter, Kean got on the board first in the second period with a goal just 57 seconds into the quarter. Just 50 seconds later, the Profs responded when Rothwein scored the equalizer off a free position shot. Both teams each scored again before the Profs went on a 5-0 run to end the period. A goal by
Alexis Lowry jumpstarted the run before Corson scored three straight with Rothwein's goal capping off the period.

With Rowan leading 7-2 in the third quarter, Corson continued her scoring assault with a goal at the 13:36 minute mark. Five minutes later, Lowry scored her second before Corson followed with her sixth.

Back-to-back Kean goals ended the Rowan run and cut the lead to 10-4. The Profs closed out the period on a 4-1 run as Rothwein, Lowry,
Amelia Govern and
Trish Gillen all found the back of the net.

Rowan finished strong, outscoring the Cougars 6-3.
Fiona Lockhart got on the stat sheet with two goals while Lowry scored twice and Rothwein and Corson chipped in a goal each.

Kylie Durboraw made four saves in goal to complete the 20-8 win.

The game also marked the program's annual "Senior Day". Rowan honored seniors
