Taz Cantey scored a game-high 26 points and
Brycen Williams had 16 as Rowan picked up a 73-65 win over Ramapo on men's basketball Senior Day at Esby Gym. Cantey, Williams and
Chris McCarron were honored prior to the game for Senior Day while the Profs earned their fifth consecutive win and improved to 9-6 in the NJAC, and 9-13 overall.

Cantey made four three-pointers and recorded his third straight game of 20-plus points and seventh of the season.
Khalil Baker posted his sixth double-double of the year, and second straight, with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

A 9-0 run in the opening minutes of the second half, with four points from Williams and three from Cantey, propelled the Profs to the win. The spurt gave Rowan a 51-46 edge and the lead for good.

Cantey had a three and a layup to give Rowan its first double-digit lead, 56-45, with 8:10 to play. The Profs expanded it late in the half and owned its biggest margin of the game, 63-49, at 6:18 after a layup from
Ife Okebiorun. Cantey scored Rowan's final four points in the final 22 seconds after Ramapo (5-17; 4-11) had closed the game to 68-61.

Rowan hit 53 percent from the field in the second half after going just 10-for-32 from the field in the first.

Ramapo led early on and then held a 22-16 advantage with seven minutes to go in the frst half. A three-pointer by McCarron with 2:09 to go capped a 12-2 Profs' run that pulled them ahead, 28-24. Ramapo answered with the final points of the half to force a 28-28 tie at intermission.

Rowan is on the road for its next two games, traveling to TCNJ on Wednesday and at Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, February 14. The Profs' final regular-season home game is Wednesday, February 18th against Stockton. Â
