NEW YORK, NY -- The #36 Rowan Women's Track & Field Team was in competition in two meets on Friday, first at the Scarlet Knight Open at the NYC Armory and at the Fasttrack Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Complex. There was no team scoring at either event.

Quick hits from Friday's action:

- Denirah Jones ran a #2 NJAC-best time in the 60 meters (7.80) and in the long jump (5.46 meters)

- Indoor PR's went to Paige Franklin in the 400 meters (59.88) for a #4 NJAC time and for Gianna Norris (2:35.16) in the 800 meters

- At the Fasttrack Invitational, Eirka Schinasi tied a PR in the pole vault with a top mark of 2.75 meters

Next weekend, the squad will be in action at the two-day Widener Indoor Classic beginning on Friday at Widener, before shifting to Penn's Ott Center in Philadelphia on Saturday.
