PHILADELPHIA, PA -- For first time since the 2016-17 season, the Rowan Women's Indoor Track & Field Team took home the NJAC Championship Friday night as the two-day meet concluded at Penn's Ott Center. The second day of the championship took was rescheduled from Sunday's inclement weather.
FINAL RESULTS
The Profs, who stood in third place after the first day, capture its sixth conference crown in program history with a total of 201 points. TCNJ was second with 182.5 points, with Stockton in third (112). Rowan totaled 61 points through last Saturday's action, trailing TCNJ by one point (62) and just six away from then first-place Stockton (67).
A quick rundown of Friday's action:

Gabriella Pagano was a dual winner on the day, claiming first place in the mile (5:01.46) and the 3000 meters (10:07.88)

Nyla Jones won the 60 meter hurdles for the second year in a row as the sophomore ran an identical 8.87 seconds in both the preliminaries and final; Jones was also second in the 200 meters, hitting a personal best (25.11)

Amari Pinkett,
Ava Reilly, and
Ava Rizzo ran their second-fastest time of the season as the 4x400 relay took first place for the second-straight season (4:00.97)
Rowan will be in action at the AARTFC Regional Championships, March 7-8 at the New York City Armory. The Division III Championships go down the following weekend March 14-15.
