PHILADELPHIA, PA -- The Rowan Women's Track & Field Team wrapped up the two-day Widener Indoor Classic on Saturday at Penn's Ott Center along with a contingent at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. There was no team scoring at either event.

Some weekend notables at Widener:

- Nyla Jones took care of business in two events; bumping up her times in the 200 meters (25.72) and in the 60 meter hurdles (8.69) with a new PR's

- Amari Pinkett turned in a PR in the 400 meters (58.58)

- Pinkett, Ava Reilly, Ava Rizzo, Paige Franklin ran the 4x400 in a time of 3:59.59

- Alaijah Wilson topped out at 11.36 meters in the shot for a new PR         

At the Valentine Invitational in Boston:

- Representing Rowan, Jezena Aponte (5:13.16) and Emily Zanni (5:18.28) competed in the mile, while Gabriella Pagano ran in the 5000 meters (16:45.30) which is a PR

The Profs will prepare for the 2025-26 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship being held next Saturday and Sunday at the Ott Center.
