Women's Track & Field Ends Weekend Slate of Meets at Bucknell and Haverford

GLASSBORO, NJ -- The Rowan Women's Track & Field Team was back at it on Saturday, competing in the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell and the McElligott Invitational at Haverford.

Some Bucknell highlights:

- Denirah Jones ran a new #2 NJAC time in the 60 meters, timing in at 7.81 in the preliminaries; the freshman would hit 7.84 in the finals; the freshman also topped out at 5.11 meters in the long jump

- Fresh off her new PR in the weight throw on Friday, Lexi Bey notched her third-best indoor mark in the shot (11.81 meters)

Haverford news and notes:

- Rookie Calyse Villanueva cleared 1.50 meters to claim first place in the pole vault

- Erika Schinasi hit her third-best indoor mark in the pole vault (2.60 meters); Freshman Olivia Solomon cleared out at 2.45 meters

The squad will head back to the Ocean Breeze Complex this Friday for the METS Championships.
