JERSEY CITY, NJ - Brycan Williams scored 21 points and
Khalil Baker scored the go-ahead basketball with 1:49 to play to give Rowan a 74-69 win at New Jersey City in conference men's basketball action. The Profs improve to 5-6 in the conference and 5-13 overall.

Williams connected on four three-pointers and
Khalil Baker scored 13 points.
Taz Cantey netted 12 and
Khamai Orange scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds to aid the win.

NJCU (12-6; 8-3 NJAC) fought back from a double-digit deficit in the second half and tied the game, 65-65, with 2:23 to play. But Baker's layup gave the Profs the lead for good and
Michael Pirone followed with a basket at :59 to up the lead to 69-65. Rowan secured the win making 5-of-6 free throws down the stretch, with two apiece from Baker and
Taz Cantey.

The Profs led for most of the second half, by as much as 12 early on, and then by 50-39 with 13:55 to play.

In the first half, the teams traded leads with neither team leading by more than four points. Rowan took a 33-29 advantage into halftime as it shot 13-for-30 from the field.

The Profs have a pair of home games next week, hosting Rutgers-Camden in a key NJAC matchup on Wednesday and William Paterson on Saturday, January 31st.Â
