NORTHBOROUGH, MA - Coming off one of the best seasons in school history, the Rowan women's lacrosse team enters the new year ranked #17 in the
2026 IWLCA Division III Preseason Poll.
The Profs finished the 2025 campaign with a 16-4 record to set the Rowan mark for victories, which included the best start in school history (8-0). Rowan earned its first at-large bid to the NCAA Championship where it hosted the Second Round and defeated Western Connecticut State, 20-5, to mark the program's first NCAA win since 2008. The Profs reached the Round of 16 for the furthest advancement under head coach Lindsay Delaney before falling to #7 Wesleyan (CT) in the Third Round. The Profs ended the year ranked #18 in the final IWLCA Coaches Poll.
Among the top returnees is All-American
Elaina Corson, who led the Profs in scoring with a career-best 84 goals and 18 assists (102 points). She set Rowan's single-season record for goals and established a new mark for goals in a game with 10 in the NCAA victory over WestConn.
Rowan will get the 2026 season underway on February 25th when it travels to Lebanon Valley and opens the home slate on Saturday, February 28th against Muhlenberg at 1 p.m.
