Mia Foti each scored a goal as #18 Rowan came from behind to defeat Washington College, 2-1, in field hockey action at Coach Wackar Stadium, with the Profs improving to 5-3.

The teams played a scoreless first quarter before Washington College (3-5) netted the game's first goal at 18:55 by MaryCate Anson. The Shorewomen held that lead until the third quarter.

Foti got the Profs on the board, tying the game with an unassisted goal at 43:49 as she controlled a rebound in front of the game. It was her third goal of the season.

Rowan held a 12-1 advantage in corners and they capitalized on one for the gamewinner.
Paige Gray made the insert pass to Ronning, who blasted one from inside the circle at 50:39 for her second goal of the year.

The Profs dominated on the attack, outshooting the Shorewomen, 19-3, with WC's goalie Charlotte Schurmann needing to make nine saves.
Mariah Juiliano did not have to make any saves in picking up her third win of the year.

Rowan will host Arcadia on Saturday with a noon start for "Senior Day" with the Profs' nine seniors honored prior to the game.
