Glassboro, NJ- Sydney Kowalczyk scored two goals as #18 Rowan dominated Arcadia to secure a 7-0 win in non-conference play on "Senior Day" at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium. The win improves Rowan's record to 6-3.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Kowalczyk got Rowan on the board with 12:08 left in the second quarter, receiving a pass from Tess Herman before turning and firing the ball into the back of the cage. The goal was Kowalczyk's team leading seventh of the season.

Kylie Elwell doubled the Profs lead just three minutes later, scoring after collecting her own rebounded shot and firing a backhanded shot into the cage for her first goal of the season.

Later in the quarter, Alexa Ronning stepped up to take a penalty stroke and slotted into the bottom right corner of the cage, giving Rowan a commanding 3-0 lead.

Kaylee Wenzel capped off a four goal-quarter for Rowan by scoring a goal that deflected off an Arcadia defender and rolled into the cage with only 1:01 left in the half.

Rowan opened the scoring with 9:19 to go in the third quarter, the play initiated by Gracie Merrick who fed a pass to Lily Bataloni inside the circle. Bataloni sent the ball over to Kowalczyk, who fired a shot into the back of the cage for her second goal of the game and NJAC leading eighth goal of the season, giving the Profs a 5-0 lead. Bataloni was credited with the assist.

Later in the quarter, Grace Angelo scored the first goal of her Rowan career after collecting her own rebound and sneaking a shot past the goaltender to give the Profs a 7-0 lead.
