MADISON, NJ -- #20 Rowan notched its fourth shutout of the season with a 5-0 road win at Drew on Saturday.
Olivia Giordano,
Arianna Brown,
Angela Oliveto,
Sara Wiedeman, and
Addison Hammond all scored for the Profs, who improved to 5-1 on the year.
The Profs netted both first half goals off corner kicks. The first score came in the ninth minute when Giordano put in her team-leading fifth tally off a scrum in the box. Brown would net her first collegiate goal before the half with her header on a corner to make it 2-0.
Lianna SanFelice registered assists on both scores.
Wiedemann set up Oliveto's goal in the 52nd minute and then added to the lead in the 70th minute with her fourth goal with an assist from
Elaina Corson.
Hammond also tallied for her first career goal with less than 30 seconds remaining in the contest, setup by
Alexis Dzierzgowski and
Charlie Marsteller to account for the scoring.
Goalie
Leah Edinger saw three shots on the day to notch her third clean sheet this year. The Ranger duo of Dana Ianelli and Sarah Crowley combined to make five saves.
Rowan begins New Jersey Athletic Conference play next Saturday with a date at Rutgers-Newark at 7 p.m.
