HAVERFORD, PA - Three straight goals midway through the game lifted Haverford to a 4-2 win over #12 Rowan in non-conference field hockey action today, as the Profs (4-3) closed out a three-game road swing.

Lily Bataloni gave Rowan a 1-0 lead just seven minutes into the game with an unassisted goal for her second of the year, but the Fords would go on their run starting in the second quarter.

Alice Stein scored one in the 25th minute to tie the game heading into halftime, and then followed with another at 31:59. Haverford (5-1) added to the 2-1 lead with a goal at 42:04.

Rowan closed the deficit to 3-2 at 48:16 as
Mia Foti netted her second of the year, off a pass from
Alexa Ronning.
But the Profs couldn't get the tying goal and Haverford put the game out of reach with its final goal with three minutes remaining. Â

The Profs return home for two straight starting on Wednesday when they host Washington College at 6 p.m. and Arcadia on Saturday at noon.
