BABSON PARK, MA -- #17 Rowan suffered its first loss on the season in a 1-0 decision at Babson on Saturday.

With the team's scoreless at halftime, the Beavers' Mack Feeney scored in the 65th minute to record Babson's only shot of the half.

The Profs fired off 12 shots, seven of which came after the break but Rowan could not find the net. Babson goalies Cleo Grignard and Callahan Cottone combined for nine saves for the home team.

Freshman goalie Leah Edinger faced five shots on the day.

Rowan looks to bounce back next Saturday when the squad heads to Drew for a non-conference matchup with the Rangers in a noon start.
