GLASSBORO, NJ -- Breanna Bryant, Payton MacNair, Holly Markus, Liz McCaffery, and Emily McCutcheon represent Rowan on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025 Softball Academic All-District Teams.

For MacNair, this is the third-straight year she has been honored. McCutcheon scores her second with Bryant, Markus, and McCaffery earning it for the first time.

In order to be eligible for the award, nominees must meet the following criteria:  An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and a graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the contests.

MacNair is a Physical Education and Health major who leads the team in batting average (.441) and is tied for the team lead in RBIs (41) and doubles (16).

McCutcheon, an Early Childhood Education major, boasts a 21-1 record this season with a 0.86 ERA, a 0.76 WHIP, 10 shutouts, and a pair of saves. In 137.2 innings, the junior has 73 strikeouts to just seven walks.

Bryant, who is working on her Masters in Higher Education, has put together a .360 average with 34 runs, 11 doubles, 39 RBI's, and 22 walks.

Markus is a Biological Sciences major that has put up career numbers including a .274 average with 25 RBI's, four doubles, and has a team-leading 13 hit by pitch

McCaffery who majors in Sports Communications, is the team leader in hits (67), runs (49), triples (6), home runs (3), and stolen bases (26).

The #4 Profs (48-2) open play at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships against #9 Texas Lutheran on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CT) emanating from Inspiration Field on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan. The eight-team double elimination tournament continues through June 1st with the championship finals starting on June 3rd.
