GLASSBORO, NJ -- #2 Rowan has been selected to host one of the regional rounds of the 2025 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament where the Profs will battle Cortland at 11 a.m. which kicks off at the Rowan Softball Field on Thursday.

Joining the Profs and Red Dragons will be Tufts and Rensselaer in the double elimination tournament that continues through Saturday.

Rowan won its 13th New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday, defeating Ramapo in two games to secure the title for the second year in a row and third in the last four seasons. The Red Dragons captured the SUNYAC title using a late-inning rally to defeat Oneonta. Tufts took down Wesleyan to win the NESCAC automatic bid while Rensselaer earned an at-large bid after falling in the finals of the Liberty League Championship to Ithaca.

The regional tournament is as follows:

Thursday, May 15th
Game 1:  Rowan (H) vs. Cortland (A) @ 11:00 AM  
Game 2:  Tufts (H) vs. Rensselaer (A) @ 1:30 PM  

Friday, May 16th        
Game 3:  Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner @ 11:00 AM  
Game 4:  Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser @ 1:30 PM         
Game 5:  Game 4 winner vs. Game 3 loser @ 4:00 PM      

Saturday, May 17th    
Game 6:  Game 3 winner vs. Game 5 winner @ 11:00 AM
Game 7:  Game 6 winner vs. Game 6 loser (if necessary) @ 1:30 PM

This is the second year in a row Rowan will host the regional round and ninth time in program history. The bid also marks the 31st NCAA Tournament appearance for the Profs.
