ORLANDO, FL -- Throwers from the Rowan Men's and Women's Track & Field Teams saw action this weekend's Blue and Gold Invitational hosted Central Florida.

There was no team scoring at the event.

On the women's side, Dimitra Kossis hit a PR in the javelin, topping out at 34.79 meters. Izzy Deal measured out at 37.19 meters and maxed out 13.44 meters in the shot as well.

Damitrius Hester claimed third (63.04 meters )in the men's javelin, with James Wilson (51.72 meters) in 17th.

The rest of the team will make its outdoor season debut at next weekend's Danny Curran Invitational held at Widener.
