Rowan Track & Field Teams Earn Top Regional Awards from the USTFCCCA

Men's and Women's teams highlighted in season-end accolades

NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Both the Rowan Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Teams captured honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association  (USTFCCCA) in its regional awards with s total of five coaches and student-athletes honored.

On the women's side, head coach Shedrick Elliott III was named the Metro Region head coach of the year.

Men's head coach Dustin Dimit was selected the Metro Region head coach of the year with assistant Milton Goode earning the Metro assistant coach of the year.

Evan Corcoran was chosen the Metro Region track athlete of the year with teammate Damitrius Hester selected as the Metro Region field athlete of the year.

Elliott III guided the Profs to the team title at the NJAC Outdoor Championships for the program's first title in nine years. Rowan had 19 All-Region athletes and four national qualifiers with three earning All-American honors (Nyla Jones, Gabriella Pagano, and Ava Reardon).

Dimit led the Profs to a runner-up team finish at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, earning 29 All-American awards along with two national champions (Hester and David Brown). Rowan also won team titles at the NJAC Outdoor Championships and AARTFC Championships, while breaking eight school records this season.

Goode coached the Profs' high jumpers to a 1-3-4 finish at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Nationals, led by champion David Brown. His crew earned four All-America honors as all four had seasonal bests of 2.10 meters or higher.

Corcoran earned three First-Team All-America honors at the DIII Outdoor Championships, finishing third in the 100 meters, eighth in the 200 meters, and second as part of the 4x100 relay. The senior's 100 meter PR time of 10.30 at the NCAA Championships, which is an all-time, wind-legal top-15 mark in NCAA DIII history.

Hester won the javelin throw at the DIII Outdoor Championships with a personal best effort of 74.94 meters, which is the second-best mark in NCAA DIII history. He went undefeated all season long against NCAA competition.
