GREENSBORO, NC – For the third year in a row,
Ella Pennington earned All-American honors with a third-place finish in the 200 back to highlight the Rowan women's and men's swimming teams' performance in the final day of the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships hailing from the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The junior swam a 1:58.59 in the preliminary round and then a 1:58.64 in the finals for a First-Team All-American honor after consecutive second-team nods. It is her third All-American distinction of the meet.

On the men's side,
Jack Watson was 41st in the 100 free prelims (45.52) while
Tobias Cahnbley was 53rd (47.25).
Watson, Cahnbley,
Braden Sheehan, and
Alex Volin competed in the 400 free relay prelims, finishing 24th (3:02.82).
Pennington's team 37 points gave the women's squad a 19th-place finish. MIT (497 points) edged out NYU (470 points) for the team championship. The men's team totaled 28 points for a 28th-place finish. Denison (463.5 points) was the men's team champion.over second-place Emory (323.5 points).
