Brycen Williams scored a career-high 37 points and led a resiient Rowan team, but the Profs' rally fell short at Stockton, 104-100, in overtime in the NJAC men's basketball regular-season finale. Rowan (12-13; 9-9) is the sixth seed in the 2025 NJAC Championship and will play a rematch against #3 Stockton in the quarterfinals on Saturday, February 22 at 7 p.m.

Williams shot 13-of-23 and made seven three-pointers and
Skip Burton scored a career-high 22 points in his first start of the year for Rowan.
Chris McCarron scored 12 points and
Dan Mason had 10 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double.
Stockton (18-7; 13-5) led from the start and by as much as 15 points in the game, but Rowan wouldn't give up.
The Profs mounted a rally from 14 points down in the second half to ultimately send the game into overtime. Stockton scored the first nine points of the extra period to go up, 96-87. Although McCarron got Rowan's first bucket of OT, the Ospreys built up an eight-point lead. Williams' jumper pulled the Profs to within 102-98, but Jahmir Payoute hit a pair of free throws at :03 to seal the win.
At the start of the second half, Rowan pulled within 37-31, but four minutes in, saw Stockton scored nine straight to go up 53-38, for the Ospreys' biggest lead of the game.
Down 77-68, Rowan rallied with a 15-5 spurt over two minutes to tie the game at 82-82 with 2:17 remaining. With 2:02 left EJ Matthews-Spratley made three from the line to give Stockton the lead again, but Rowan answered with a three-pointer from McCarron at 1:14. Payoute gave Stockton the two-point lead, but a driving layup from Williams at :08 sent the game into overtime.
Stockton led from the opening tip and made nine of its first 18 shots in building up a 22-9 lead in the first 10 minutes. The Ospreys expanded that to 27-13 at 6:40 for their biggest lead of the first half but Rowan chipped away and scored the last four points of the half, to trail by just 37-29 at halftime.
Montclair State captured the regular-season title and along with Ramapo will have byes in the quarterfinals. Third-seeded Kean will host fourth-seeded TCNJ in the other quarterfinal on Saturday at 4 p.m.
