Men's and Women's Swimming Squads Make Moves in Day 3 of NJAC Championships

HAMPTON, VA -- Day 3 of the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championships are in the books with the women's team moving up a spot to third place and the men in fourth.

Saturday's highlights include:

- Ella Pennington breaking her own school record twice in winning the 100 backstroke with a new program time of 54.51in the finals and after a 55.76 in the preliminaries; the previous time was 55.78

- Pennington also captured the 100 fly in a top 5 Division III and PR time of 54.48

- Kaitlyn Crouthamel set a new PR in the 400 IM (4:28.87) where she was second

- Tobias Cahnbley won the 200 free (1:39.18) with a new personal best time and hitting an NCAA 'B' cut time

- Jack Watson clocked in at 47.74 to win the 100 backstroke

- Alex Volin was fourth in the 100 fly, notching a PR in the process (48.99)

The championships conclude on Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m. from the Hampton Aquaplex in Virginia.
