Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Back to Back Champs! Men's Soccer Wins NJAC Crown over TCNJ, 1-0, as Schlotterbeck Nets the Gamewinner

Profs have won the title in three of the last four years

GLASSBORO, NJ - Evan Schlotterbeck's first-half goal lifted Rowan to a 1-0 win over TCNJ in the 2025 NJAC Men's Soccer Championship as the Profs claimed the title for the second year in a row. Rowan (15-3-4) has earned the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship and will make their eighth appearance under head coach Scott Baker.

The winning goal originated on a Profs' corner kick, one of 11 they had in the match. Davide Caputo got the ball into the box and Schlotterbeck was able to knock it inside the post at 31:51. It was the graduate student's fourth goal of the year and his second gamewinner.

Neither team could find the net the rest of the way and Rowan keeper Travis Holiday made five saves to record the shutout, which is his third in a row.

The game was even with both teams having their scoring chances, and Rowan holding a slight 22-20 advantage in shots.

This marked Rowan's sixth consecutive berth in the NJAC championship game, which is the most in the conference's men's soccer history. It is also the Profs' third crown in four years, after winning in 2022 and 2024.

The Profs will find out their opponent and destination for the NCAA Tournament when the bracket is announced on Monday at 11:30 a.m. on NCAA.com.
