Cross Country Teams and Soccer Teams Head into NCAA Regional and National Competition on Saturday

GLASSBORO, NJ – Four Rowan teams — men's and women's cross country, and men's and women's soccer — will be competing in post-season action on Saturday.

CROSS COUNTRY
The men's and women's cross country teams will host the 2025 NCAA Metro Regional at the DREAM Park in Logan Township. The men's race starts at 11 a.m. followed by the women's at noon. Admission is free.

Rowan's women's team, which won the 2025 NJAC crown, is the defending regional champion, capturing its first-ever title last year. The Profs' men's team finished second at the 2024 regionals and were the runners-up in this year's conference championship.  

Regional champions earn a team berth in the NCAA Championships that will be held on November 22nd in Spartanburg, SC.
 
MEN'S SOCCER
The NJAC Champion men's soccer team will face Bridgewater State in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship at Wesleyan (CT), with the match set for 1:30 p.m. at Jackson Field.

The Rowan-Bridgewater State (13-5-1) winner will move on to face the winner of the #11 Wesleyan (9-4-4) vs. Lehman (10-2-4) match in the Second Round on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Profs (15-3-4) are making their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last six years, and the 32nd all-time appearance. The Profs have advanced to the national championship game four times in school history and have made six trips to the semifinals. Rowan won national titles in 1981 and 1990.
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER
The #11 women's soccer team (13-1-4) will take on #16 Misericordia (15-4-1) at Christopher Newport on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. in the First Round of the NCAA Championship.

Host #14 Christopher Newport (14-1-3) hosts Penn State-Harrisburg (14-5-4) in Saturday's first game at 4:30 p.m. The winners will advance to the Second Round to be played on Sunday at 6 p.m.

The Profs earned an at-large berth to the championship and will be making their fourth consecutive appearance and 17th all-time.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
