EWING, NJ -- #11 Rowan women's soccer netted two second-half goals to earn a 2-2 draw at The College of New Jersey in the NJAC regular-season finale for both teams. With the win, the Profs clinch the #2 seed and receive a first-round bye in the NJAC Women's Soccer Championship. The semifinal round will take place in Glassboro on Tuesday, November 4th at 6 p.m., against either TCNJ or Stockton.Â

Olivia Giordano netted the Profs' first goal in the 64th minute with sister
Julianna Giordano adding a late score in the 82nd minute.

Leah Edinger recorded two saves in the tie. The Lions' Ellen Williams also made two stops.
TCNJ made it 1-0 on an early tally from Alyssa Alfano in the sixth minute before Lexi Caruso put Rowan in a two-goal deficit in the 38th.
In the second,
Lianna SanFelice fed a streaking Giordano down the left flank through a defender and was able to beat Williams to make it 2-1. The goal was the senior's NJAC-leading 13th goal of the season.

The Profs had to survive through two TCNJ corner kicks in the final 1:40 but were able to keep the home team off the board to preserve the draw.
Montclair State has earned the top seed through a tiebreaker and will also get a bye into the semifinals. First-round action will pit #3 TCNJ against #6 Stockton while #4 Rutgers-Camden welcomes #5 NJCU on Saturday. The NJAC Championship will take place at the highest remaining seed on Friday, November 7th.
