LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ -- The Rowan Men's Cross Country team placed ninth in the men's championship race at the tenth-annual Border Battle held at DREAM Park on Saturday.
FINAL RESULTS
The Profs totaled 250 points in the championship race.
Matthew Conway was the top Rowan finisher, placing tenth (25:03.9).
Colin Patterson was 24th (25:14.6),
Anthony Faust was 66th (25:59.9),
Aidan Brad took 72nd (26:07.3), and
Sean Hice was 86th (26:19.8) as the top five scorers for Rowan.
Micah Lachman of Haverford was first to cross the finish line in a time of 24:28.8 in the 8k race that featured over 325 competitors.
Carnegie Mellon was the team winner with a score of 67 points. Swarthmore took second (144 points) and Haverford in third (161 points).
In the men's open race,
Garrett Walters (28:03.2),
Ryan Wells (28:43.4), and
Cole Mylan (28:44.2) saw action. Rowan alum
Joshua Cason was the individual winner (25:41.2) with
Giancarlo Vega in third (25:58.1) and Shane Vostenak in seventh (26:35.4).
Next up for the Profs is the 2025 NJAC Cross Country Championship on Saturday, November 1st where Rowan aims for its fourth-straight title. The meet will be held at Stockton.
