MAHWAH, NJ -
Sydney Kowalczyk, the leading scorer in the NJAC, had two goals and an assist to lead #16 Rowan to a 6-1 victory over Ramapo in league field hockey action today, as the Profs (10-3; 2-0) extend their winning streak to six.

Kaylee Wenzel scored Rowan's first goal in the second quarter with the assist from
Gracie Merrick. Kowalczyk then added her first of the game, taking a pass from
Aurelia McManis, and
Lily Bataloni teamed up with Kowalczyk to give Rowan a 3-0 halftime lead.

Riley McClelland tallied her first goal of the season in the third quarter as McManis picked up her second assist of the game to run the score to 4-0.

Ramapo (3-8; 0-2) ended the shutout just minutes later when Eliana Momm tallied the Roadrunners' lone goal.

Olivia Griffin upped the Profs' lead to 5-1 at 50:27, as she took a pass from
Tess Herman. Herman then assisted on Kowalczyk's second goal, which was her 14th of the season.

The Profs dominated on attack with a 39-2 advantage in shots, forcing Ramapo goalie Emily Getz to make 14 saves.

Mariah Juiliano played three quarters in goal for Rowan and made one save with
Kelley Crescenzo seeing action in the final quarter.

Rowan will head to rival TCNJ on Wednesday for key matchup with game time at 4 p.m.
