GLASSBORO, NJ -- Head coach
Kim Wilson hit a career milestone after #13 Rowan's doubleheader sweep of Stockton, 1-0, and 8-0, to earn her 900th and 901st career wins at Rowan on Tuesday afternoon in New Jersey Athletic Conference action.

In 28 years at Rowan, Wilson owns a 901-298-2 record while guiding the Profs to 19 NCAA Regional appearances and five berths in the Super Regionals. She ranks fourth in victories among active Division III head coaches with an overall total of 966 wins in 34 years of coaching. Wilson received one of the sport's highest honors when she was inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame in December.
Game one
The Profs walked if off in the seventh as an RBI single from
Breanna Bryant with the bags full gave the home team a 1-0 victory in a pitcher's duel.
Starter
Rylee Lutz (9-4) gave up just five hits with six K's and two walks while navigating out of seven Ospreys left on base. Stockton's Nerina Tramp was equally impressive, fanning seven while allowing six hits and three walks.
Kaityn Riggs, who was named the NJAC Player of the Week on Monday, kept the bat hot, going 2-for-2 with a walk.
With Riggs on at second base and
Payton MacNair on third in the fourth inning, Tramps got a strikeout and a foulout to keep the game scoreless.
Lutz worked out of a similar spot in the sixth, as Stockton put two on with one out. After a big strikeout, Lutz induced a grounder to short.
Riggs led off the seventh with a walk and was lifted for pinch runner
Hannah Bryszewski. Back-to-back singles from
Grace Shukaitis and
Abigail Pawlowski would load the bases for Bryant where she delivered the game-winning hit to left.
Game two
Shukaitis and MacNair each had two-run hits in the first and second innings respectively as Rowan, who now extends its win streak to 17 games, built a big lead and was able to finish off the sweep with a five-inning win.
Liz McCaffery and
Zara MacNair were 2-for-3 with two runs each
Emily McCutcheon cruised through the five innings, yielding just four hits while fanning five and not allowing a walk.
Shukaitis found the gap in left center with the bags full and two outs to score two runs as the Profs plated three unearned runs in the frame. Now in the second with
Zara MacNair at second and McCaffery at third, MacNair smoked a ball to third base where it caromed into foul territory allowing both runners to score.
Now leading 6-0 in the fourth, McCaffery would score on a wild pitch and pinch hitter
Morgan Tripodi knocked in pinch runner
Aly Reim. McCutcheon worked a 1-2-3 fifth to wrap up the win.
Rowan continues play on Saturday when it heads to #22 Ramapo in a crucial NJAC doubleheader.
