GLASSBORO, NJ -- #13 Rowan totaled 26 hits as the Profs took down William Paterson, 16-0 and 6-1, in a NJAC Doubleheader Sunday afternoon. The two wins extends Rowan's unbeaten streak to 15 games.

Game one
Payton MacNair plated five RBI, a career high, while adding a pair of triples and a double. The senior also tied a personal-best with three runs scored.
Grace Shukaitis and
McKenzie Melvin each had two hits, as the team totaled 14 hits and five walks.
MacNair's two-run double was part of a four-run first inning for home squad. She drove in two more in the second with her triple to right to highlight the three runs in the frame. The Profs plated five runs in the third with MacNair striking again with her second RBI triple.
Starter
Rylee Lutz improved to 8-4, notching her sixth win in a row, as the junior posted four strikeouts with three walks and five hits as the game was ended in the fifth.
Game two
Leading 3-1, the Profs added some insurance runs in the sixth, scoring three times to help lock up the DH sweep.
Breanna Bryant was 3-for-3 for Rowan.
Liz McCaffery and
Cat Thomas each went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Starter
Emily McCutcheon struck out six batters while allowing the one run on seven hits in six innings of work.
After scoring a run off an error in the first,
Abigail Pawlowski singled home
Kaitlyn Riggs in the second for a 2-0 lead. Riggs added a sac fly in the fifth to add to the lead.
The Pioneers hung around, scoring a run on an infield single to make it 3-1 in the sixth. Rowan countered in the bottom half with a three spot.
Morgan Tripodi hit a pinch-hit triple to lead off the inning, then later score on a groundout from
Cami Morgan. McCaffery and Thomas would later follow with back-to-back RBI singles.
McCutcheon raised her NJAC-leading record to 13-1 with the win.
Rowan will host Stockton on Tuesday in a conference twinbill beginning at 2:30 p.m.
