GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan claimed first place in 12 of 14 events to go on and defeat Montclair State, 160-102, Friday evening at the Tony Lisa Natatorium.

Jack Watson,
Tobias Cahnbley, and
Jim Mahoney were multi-winners on the night. Watson and Cahnbley were also members of the winning 200 medley relay.
Watson took first in the 100 back (53.30) and the 500 free (4:51.55) while Cahnbley owned the top time in the 200 free (1:45.71) and 200 back (1:54.08). Mahoney swept both the 100 (58.80) and 200 breaststroke (2:10.86) respectively.
With the win, the Profs (2-2) notch its first home victory on the year.
Other first-place finishers included
Alex Volin in the 200 fly (1:55.31),
Gavin Luong in the 50 free (21.46),
Braden Sheehan in the 200 IM (1:59.15), and
Gavin Danze in the 1000 free (9:58.48). Cahnbley and Watson teamed with Volin and
James Bygott in the 200 medley relay (1:35.06) while the 200 free relay comprised of Luong,
Andrew Dang,
Kristian Werner, and
Brandyn Acevedo had the top time (1:27.58).
Up next is the three-day Franklin & Marshall Invitational which begins on Friday, November 22nd.
