Jenna Gray's goal early in the third quarter gave #22 Rowan a 2-1 win over #16 Ursinus in the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship First Round. Rowan (15-7), now on an 11-game winning streak, will travel to #3 Tufts on Saturday, for a Second Round game beginning at 11 a.m.

The winner of the Rowan-Tufts game will meet the winner of the Babson vs. Bates matchup in the Third Round on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Mariah Juiliano made 11 saves to preserve the win as Ursinus outshot the Profs, 16-7.
 
Allie Palumbo gave the NJAC Champion Profs a 1-0 at 16:52 as she took a restart at the top of the circle, two took dribbles and sent a backhander into the left side of the cage for her team-best 16th goal of the season.
 
Ursinus (13-8) tied it up on a corner with no time remaining in the second quarter when Marie Brainard carried it in the circle and scooped a shot into the cage from six yards out to tie the game.
 
Gray's gamewinner, her third of the year, came 1:27 into the fourth quarter. The Profs sent the ball into the circle, Gray collected it and beat a defender, and lifted the ball past Ursinus goalie Adriana Palldinetti for her 14th goal of the year.
 
It marks the fourth straight NCAA First-Round win for the Profs as they are now making their 24th all-time appearance in the Championship.
